To be rolled out later this year, the proposition will build on the investment capability already provided through the group’s tie-ups with platforms SEI and Nucleus as well as its existing UK retail asset management business, Prism Capital Management.  It will be aimed at both whole of market and restricted advisers.

The new venture will sit alongside Paradigm’s existing businesses: Partners, a consultant support services firm; its Mortgage Services and Pensions arms; and Amber, a wrap business unveiled in January 2012.

Full details of the new business – including its name – have yet to be revealed, though Paradigm has confirmed it is currently recruiting a team of investment professionals to oversee the external management arrangements.

“Over the coming months we will be investing heavily in the business, combining market-leading systems and technology with a top-class team of individuals with the drive and determination to make this proposition the obvious and best home for advisers and their clients,” said partner Anthony Morrow.
