Currently head of Nordea Life and Pensions, Bolmstrand will start the new role on 1 January 2017 and has previously managed teams in the asset management division of Skandia and Old Mutual.
He replaces outgoing CEO Christian Hyldahl, who is joining Denmark’s ATP as chief executive next year.
