Hall will assume the role of investment director, global equities, where he will be a portfolio manager within Nikko’s global equity team based in Edinburgh.
A chartered financial analyst and chartered accountant, Hall has 17 years of investment experience, managing both UK equity long and long-short funds during his tenure at Cartesian.
“He has a long track record of undertaking research and picking stocks within high conviction portfolios,” said William Low, head of the global equity team, commenting on Hall’s appointment.
“His investment style is highly aligned with the team’s focus on future quality firms.”
