Nikko Asset Management (AM) has hired a UK business development director from Jupiter Asset Management.
Clive Paine has joined Nikko AM’s EMEA sales team based in London to develop relationships with UK institutional and wholesale clients.
Nikko AM focuses mainly on the institutional market, but a spokesperson confirmed Paine will support all UK clients in the role.
Paine has 25 years of investment industry experience. At Jupiter he was an institutional relationship director and prior to that, an institutional sales director at Franklin Templeton Investments.
He has also worked at Lyxor Asset Management as head of institutional sales for the UK as well as at HSBC Alternative Investments.
Nikko AM head of EMEA sales and global head of consultant relations Ian Lewis said: “We are delighted to have Clive join our team.
