Newton names Fidelity alum as non-executive board chair

She replaces Susan Noble on the UK board while also being appointed to the same role in the US

Judy Marlinski has been appointed non-executive chair of Newton Investment Management’s UK and North America boards.

She succeeds Susan Noble as chair of the UK board, who is stepping down after five years as chair and eight years on the board overall.

In the role, Marlinski will support the expansion of Newton’s US business while coordinating with Newton UK to implement the firm’s strategy.

She brings 35 years’ experience to the investment manager having previously held the roles of CEO, chief operating officer, and president within Fidelity’s wealth and investment management industries. After starting her career at Fidelity’s Boston office in 1986, she moved to Fidelity International Japan where she served as president between 2011 and 2016. She left the firm in 2021.
