Newton Investment Management has named Tjeerd Voskamp (pictured) as global head of distribution.
He joins after three years at J O Hambro Capital Management, where he was head of distribution for the UK, Europe and Asia.
In the newly-created role, Voskamp will be responsible for the firm’s distribution strategies, and will work closely with parent company BNY Mellon.
The move reunites Voskamp with Newton CEO Euan Munro, who he worked under at Aviva Investors.
Voskamp has also previously held senior sales roles at Schroders and Columbia Threadneedle.
“TJ has an established network of relationships, bringing expertise in sales management and using data tools to improve client efficiency and experience”, said Munro.
“I am thrilled to be working closely with him as we look to enhance Newton’s global distribution footprint and continue working with our clients to deliver their desired investment outcomes.”
