Jenny Segal has joined Neuberger Berman in what is a brand new role as head of institutional business for Europe.

Her main responsibility will be to focus on UK institutional clients as well as developing the distribution for the company’s investment range throughout Europe.

With this in mind, she will manage the UK institutional team directly, while working closely with the European team.

She herself reports directly to Dik van Lomwel, head of EMEA and LatAm.

Segal joins after just over a year with Old Mutual Asset Managers where she was head of the global institutional and hedge fund business and responsible for European wholesale business.

Prior to this she was at AllianceBernstein for nearly seven years, leaving as a client director, having joined there form her position as head of UK institutional at Baring Asset Management in July 2004.

Segal is the second recent joiner from the Old Mutual Group, following Rob Swan‘s arrival as head of international marketing from Skandia.
