Managed by Aziz Hamzaogullari, the fund will invest primarily in US equity securities, and those companies which have sustainable competitive advantages and profitable growth. It is benchmarked against the S&P 500.
The management team take a long-term investment approach, and will limit the number of stocks in order to maintain what they call an ‘analytical edge’.
Hamzaogullari has been with the Loomis Sayles, one of Natixis’ boutique affiliates, since 2010. Other portfolios under his management are the Loomis Sayles Large Cap Growth and All Cap Growth Funds and the Natixis Actions US Growth Fund.
Last week Portfolio Adviser revealed Natixis was to launch a global macro absolute return fund through affiliate boutique H2O Asset Management, along with two other funds. The launch is scheduled for June or July.
The latest duo of funds come a few months after the firm took its first steps into the UK market. In January it launched its initial UK market offering, the Loomis Sayles Strategic Income Fund.
Managed by Dan Fuss, Elain Stokes and Matt Eagan, the fund’s performance to date is shown in the graph.
