The Old Mutual Dynamic Bond Fund will have its name changed to the Old Mutual Monthly Income Bond Fund, to better reflect the nature of the fund.
The annual management charges on the Old Mutual Corporate Bond Fund A, B and C shares, meanwhile, will be reduced from 1.1% to 1%, 0.75% to 0.65% and 0.6% to 0.5% respectively. According to Financial Express, Fund A shares have returned 37.2% in the three years to December 2012, placing it in the top decile of the IMA Sterling Corporate Bond peer group.
Both funds will continue to be managed by Christine Johnson, and the changes will take effect on the 25th February.
Other funds have undergone name changes and have been placed under a fund umbrella name, while some have been placed in a new share class.
The firm announced in September that it would be phasing out the Skandia brand name following a move earlier in 2012 to streamline Old Mutual, Skandia UK, Skandia Europe and Skandia International and third party financial institutions and intermediaries.
The new umbrella name for the firms, Old Mutual Global Investors, has £13bn under management for its global client base.
