Morgan Stanley Investment Management has nabbed two investment hires for its global equities team from Blackrock and Capital Group.
Candida de Silva becomes senior portfolio specialist while Helena Miles becomes a generalist research analyst.
De Silva had been head of Blackrock’s UK charities and endowments business before jumping over to MSIM. She had also worked as head of EMEA retail marketing at the funds giant, where she had worked 11 years.
She had also worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Newton Investment Management.
She will work on the Global Franchise, Global Quality and Global Sustain strategies.
Miles joins from Capital Group, where she covered luxury goods and retail. At MSIM, she will work with portfolio managers, Nic Sochovsky and Alex Gabriele across the Global Franchise, Global Quality, Global Sustain and International Equity portfolios.
