Morgan Stanley has been an asset provider for Gilliat, which is part of private bank Arbuthnot Lantham & Co, for a number of years and the move is being championed as an opportunity for the firm to strengthen its distribution base and broaden the adviser base that is engaging with its products.
The most recent additions to Morgan Stanley’s UK-aimed structured product range were announced at the start of March and included the FTSE Protected Digital Growth Plan and new versions of existing plans including the Morgan Stanley FTSE Accelerator Bonus Plan 5 and the FTSE Protected Growth Plan 53.
