The duo will be responsible for analysing a range of managers and funds as part of the company’s manager research and ratings offering.
Vaughan joins from S&P Capital IQ Fund Research where he was responsible for qualitative analysis of alternative and traditional open-end funds. He has 15 years experience in the industry including stints at Bessemer Trust Company and Rathbone Investment Management.
Eyre joins Morningstar from Momentum Global Investment Management, where he was a senior fixed-income analyst. He brings six years of experience as a buy-side fixed-income analyst in multi-manager and single manager environments including some time at New Zealand Funds Management as well.
