Morningstar appoints Ninety One EMD manager to multi-asset research team

Michael Diamantopoulos spent two decades at Ninety One before exiting last year

Morningstar has named former Ninety One portfolio manager Michael Diamantopoulos as associate director, fixed income and currency.

He will work within Morningstar’s newly-created multi-asset research team.

Diamantopoulos spent over two decades at Ninety One, where he designed and managing global fixed income funds with a focus on emerging market debt before exiting in February 2024.

Prior to Ninety One, he was an analyst at MSCI.

At Morningstar, Diamantopoulos will assist the multi-asset team in combining qualitative research with systematic quantitative analysis to help shape investment decisions.
