Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has launched the American Resilience Equity OEIC for UK investors, following the roll-out of the Luxembourg vehicle in 2022.
The Morgan Stanley Funds (UK) American Resilience Equity fund seeks to invest in high-quality US equities, with a concentrated portfolio of between 20-50 stocks the managers believe have earnings resilience.
The strategy will be run by MSIM’s international equity team, which also manages the firm’s £1bn Global Brands fund.
As of 30 September, the international equity team managed £41.6bn worth of assets.

William Lock, head of MSIM’s international equity team, said: “We’re well-known advocates for a long-term approach to investing in ultra-quality equities.
