The UK real estate asset manager will now operate under its own licence, after previously working with third party operator NCM Fund Services.

Joseph Samuel, director of funds management and distribution, said: “We launched the Montello Real Estate Opportunity Fund in January 2014, which is a fully regulated fund set up out of Luxembourg.

“We now begin 2015 as a fully FCA-regulated fund manager, which provides investors with a great deal of comfort about our operation.”

The Montello Real Estate Opportunity Fund targets financing, joint ventures, and direct and co-investments in real estate across London and the South East of England.

Its objective is to generate an average return of between 6-10% per annum. It has a minimum investment of £10,000, an annual management fee of 1.95%, and a performance fee of up to 25%.

The fund is available for direct investment, or via bonds and platforms including Friends Provident International, Generali, RL360, Canada Life International, SEB, and Legal & General.
