Willcocks (pictured), or Joffy as he is better known in the industry, has been with M&G since 2005, first as global head of sales before moving to his current role in 2017.

Prior to joining M&G, he occupied senior sales roles at MFS Investments and Abrdn. He started in the industry in 1986 within Hambros Bank’s investment management division before moving into investment sales.

He is also an executive director and president of M&G Investments (Americas), executive director of M&G Investments (Japan) and director of Prudential Portfolio Managers (South Africa).

M&G chief investment officer Jack Daniels said: “Joffy energised our distribution efforts in the UK and as we grew internationally, playing an important role in M&G achieving a prominent position in many markets and shaping our sales teams. He leaves with our thanks for his relentless commitment and dedication to delivering for our clients and mentoring many colleagues.”
