Momentum Global Investment Management has nabbed a senior investments analyst from Gam.
Robert White joined as senior analyst on Monday. White has fund selection experience in alternatives and traditional asset classes and at MGIM will be responsible for fund manager selection, asset allocation and portfolio construction.
He had spent four years at Gam Investments and three years at GHC Capital Markets.
MGIM investment management director James Klempster said he had been appointed after an “extensive search”.
The investment business is a subsdiary of South African insurance and investment business MMI.
Gam says it has promoted internally to replace White.
