Momentum Global Investment Management (MGIM) has hired two business development consultants, Alistair Yeoman and Jonathan Garner, in a bid to grow its UK client base.

Yeoman has held roles in business development at Hargreaves Lansdown, Federated Hermes, and Time Investments, and will be based in London at MGIM. From there, he will be responsible for business across southern England.

Garner will cover the northwest and northeast of England from MGIM’s Liverpool office, having spent nearly eight-and-a-half years at AJ Bell. The majority of his time at AJ Bell was spent working in business development.

Both men will report directly to Steve Hunter (pictured), MGIM’s head of business development, who said: “I am delighted to welcome Alistair and Jonathan to our team as we seek to support our growing IFA-focused business across the UK. Given their specialist knowledge of the investment industry and keen insight into their respective regional markets, I am confident that their contribution will be instrumental in demonstrating our value and responding to the needs of advisers.”

MGIM specialises in multi-asset solutions, and manages over £4.5bn of assets.
