M&G has hired Paul Faragher as a sales director within its UK wholesale distribution team.
Faragher (pictured), who has 15 years’ sales and distribution experience, joins the firm from Jupiter Asset Management where he spent three years as a sales manager for London and the South East.
At M&G he will work with most of the firm’s London clients, including wealth managers, financial advisers and research analysts.
Before Jupiter, Faragher spent 12 years at BNY Mellon as a regional investment director and prior to that, worked at Henderson Global Investors, now Janus Henderson, as a client services executive.
M&G said in a press release Faragher’s appointment had been made following the promotion of Alex Matcham to head of UK wholesale distribution last year, as revealed by Portfolio Adviser at the time.
Matcham said: “We’re delighted to welcome Paul to M&G. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in asset management distribution and I’m confident he will be able to continue to provide our clients with the high standards of service they have come to expect from us.”
