The appointment is still subject to regulatory approval from the Financial Services Authority.
With 25 years experience in the industry, he most recently worked for RBS Global Banking & Markets as a director within its equity derivative sales division, running the institutional investor product business.
He also has experience with JP Morgan as an executive director looking after structured retail product development and distribution. Stuff also has experience of five years with Barclays Capital and another 18 months with Barclays Wealth immediately prior to this.
His role is with Meteor Investment Solutions, an appointed representative of Meteor Asset Management which is responsible for the sales and marketing operations for the holding company, Meteor Capital Group.
Specificallly he has been charged with expanding and developing the distribution of listed structured products from a range of issuers to investment advisers, wealth managers, private banks and family offices.
Graham Devile, Meteor Capital Group’s managing director says the appointment is part of an active strategy for the firm to be “the leading independent distributor of structured products” in the UK.
