Bell was appointed discretionary sales director for London and the southeast last year having joined the company as an intermediary sales manager in 2006. He is understood to be joining a boutique investment house in a wider ex-UK role, though Bell is not able to confirm this just yet.
At Ignis he was responsible for managing relationships with London discretionary and family office clients. Austin McBride, head of UK retail, will assume direct responsibility for Bell’s accounts while actively recruiting a successor.
