Manulife Investment Management has confirmed two of its Asia-focused funds and a securities income fund are to be made available to European investors.
The Manulife Global Fund Asian Small Cap Equity fund and Manulife Global Fund China Total Return Bond fund will be made available in Europe following increased demand from investors for Asia Pacific strategies.
In addition, the Manulife Global Fund Preferred Securities Income Fund will also be made available to European investors.
The move is also part of a move by Manulife to expand its presence in the European market through its global fund offering and follows on from the Manulife Sustainable Asia Bond, Manulife Dragon Growth and Manulife Asia Total Return Bond Funds being made available to European investors earlier this year.

Manulife Investment Management head of wealth and asset management, United States and Europe, Andrew Arnott said: “It’s an interesting time for investors to look at Asia, and China, in particular. China bonds deliver attractive nominal and real yields in a low yielding world and investors may benefit from both lower volatility and diversification attributes.”
