In the newly-created role he will be responsible for the investment performance of the pooled funds side of the business, as well as strategy, product development and distribution, subject to FCA confirmation.
Rosengarten most recently founded Eden Asset Management in 2011, after which he was responsible for its transfer and integration with City Financial, where he was head of UK asset management until September 2013.
Prior to this he spent 18 years at M&G, the last nine of which he was chief executive of equities and board director.
“We have an ambitious plan to develop the pooled funds business further and believe that someone with the experience and track record of Ed will play a critical part in the next stage of our growth,” David Cobb, co-chief executive and head of investment management and banking, said.
