According to M&G, Tiltman has resigned as manager of the £132m fund in order to pursue an opportunity with another investment manager.
Management of the fund will pass to Richard O’Conner, a previous manager of the fund with immediate effect. O’Conner is currently responsible for the management of the M&G Fund of Investment Trust Shares, Light Green Fund and various Index Funds.
To ensure a smooth transition, Tiltman will remain at M&G while serving her notice period in an advisory role.
According to Gary Cotton, chief executive of equities at M&G, Tiltman’s departure will not change the fund’s investment approach.
