In her new role, Lovell will steer marketing, business development and the enhancement of client value propositions including both investment and advised activities.
Lovell will also be responsible for a number of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
CBAM’s bespoke investment management business manages discretionary portfolios for private clients as well as trusts, charities, family offices and pension funds.
Prior to her role as managing director and senior client relationship manager at Rothschilds, Lovell worked at Coutts as head of the sports, media & entertainment team, and latterly at Fleming Family & Partners, which she joined in 1999 as head of business development.
Nancy Curtin, CBAM CIO and head of bespoke investment management, said: "Lovell’s appointment highlights the importance we place on building our Bespoke Investment Management service for private clients. She is vastly experienced with a proven record of managing money and developing targeted businesses propositions for leading wealth management businesses.
"Lovell will be invaluable in helping us to build awareness amongst high net worth clients and forging closer relationships with intermediaries and introducers which Close Brothers sees as a key focus in our overall private client strategy," she concluded.
