MacIntyre founded Coutts Private Office in 2006 and had since acted as global head. He has also been a member of the Coutts executive committee since 2010. He joins Lombard Odier in January 2016.

At the group he replaces Dominic Tremlett, who has led the private client business in the UK for the last three years. Tremlett will relocate to Switzerland to focus on the further development of Lombard Odier’s private client franchise.

Tremlett has effected significant restructuring in his three years at the helm, including an upgrade across the group’s technology systems. Assets under management have grown under his tenure, fuelled by the launch of new multi-strategy funds, LO Selection Vantage 1500 and 3000, and a number of risk-based mandates.

Lombard Odier said the appointment, ‘underlines Lombard Odier’s ambition to further expand services to UK clientele.’ Tremlett had previously indicated that he hoped to double the group assets under management in the next two to three years.

Prior to joining Coutts, McIntyre was a senior private banker at  JPMorgan, which he joined from Robert Fleming & Co. in 2000. Mr MacIntyre began his career at HSBC James Capel in the private client investment management business. He will report to Henry Fischel-Bock, Lombard Odier Group managing director responsible for the domestic European private client business and CEO of Lombard Odier (Europe) SA.

Mr. Fischel-Bock said: “The UK is an important location for private client financial services, both because of the depth of the UK market and for international clients looking for the regulatory rigour, political stability and professionalism found there. We have been in the UK for more than forty years and London, more than ever, remains a strategic priority for the Lombard Odier Group.”
