In November, it was announced that he had left his position as head of the key clients team though he remained within the business. At the time it was not deemed appropriate for them to comment any further although a spokesperson for the private banking division of Lloyds TSB today confirmed: “Malcolm Glaister’s departure from Lloyds Banking Group has now been formalised and he has left the company. We thank him for his contribution to UK Wealth and wish him the best for the future.”
This completes a busy few months for Glaister given he was named head of key clients at the end of September 2011 as part of a new senior management team only to step aside two months later.
Another two months on and Glaister is now looking for a role outside Lloyds TSB.
