Sophie Andrews has joined Liontrust as the firm’s head of UK strategic partners and consolidators.

Here she will be responsible for expanding and strengthening Liontrust’s relationships with distribution partners, such as IFA firms, networks, consolidators, rating agencies and insurance companies.

Head of UK distribution Kristian Cook said Liontrust’s Sustainable Future, Multi-Asset and Economic Advantage funds are already popular in the adviser market, so part of Andrews’ job will be to push the European Dynamic and Global Innovation funds.

Andrews joins from Franklin Templeton, where she spent six years as head of UK strategic alliances. She joined before the acquisition that took place in 2020, when it was called Legg Mason.

Prior to her time there, Andrews was at JP Morgan for six years, where she was the vice president of strategic partner relationships.

Cook said: “Strategic partners are at the forefront of our distribution strategy for the UK across our funds and solutions.

“Sophie brings a wealth of experience of working with strategic partners, which includes negotiating mutually successful bespoke distribution agreements.”
