Liontrust head of global equities Tom Record (pictured) has stood down from fund management responsibilities and is set to exit the firm at the end of the month.

He stepped down from fund management in October 2023, a spokesperson confirmed.

Tom Hosking, who co-managed a number of funds alongside Record, has taken over his responsibilities.

This includes managing the Global Equity, Global Focus, Balanced, Global Alpha and Global Smaller Companies strategies alongside Hong Yi Chen, while he is sole manager of the GF International Equity fund.

Record was head of global equities at Majedie Asset Management before moving to Liontrust as part of the acquisition in 2022. He was previously an investment manager at Baillie Gifford.
