Liontrust appoints Clare Pleydell-Bouverie as co-lead fund manager

Liontrust Asset Management has appointed Clare Pleydell-Bouverie as co-lead fund manager of the global innovation team.

Pleydell-Bouverie has been with Liontrust since 2019, beginning as assistant fund manager, and joined the global innovation team in 2022. She previously spent a year at Neptune Investment Management, and two at Third Bridge Group Limited.

The Liontrust Global Innovation team oversees the Liontrust Global Dividend, Global Innovation, and Global Technology funds, where Pleydell-Bouverie is a co-fund manager. In the past five years, the Global Dividend fund has returned 72.2% against a sector average 51.8%, while the Global Innovation fund has returned 79.4% to a sector average 58.4%, according to FE analytics. The Global Technology fund has returned 140.3% in the past five years, with a sector average 115.28%.

Pleydell-Bouverie works alongside Storm Uru and James O’Connor on the global innovation team. Uru founded the team in 2017.
