LGT Vestra’s head of private equity, Jordan Buck, has left the wealth management firm to pursue his personal goals, a spokesperson confirmed to Portfolio Adviser.

Of the five partners to leave the business he is the only one not retiring.

Also stepping down are founding partner David Blanc; investment manager Brian McRitchie; Paul Martin, who was head of legal compliance and risk; and Philip Brewis, a business development director.

The spokesperson said: “We thank each of them for their commitment and service to the firm and wish them very happy and relaxing retirements.”

For Buck, they added: “We wish him all the best and success in his future career.”

Six investment managers made partner

The ranks of LGT Vestra partners remained undiminished, however, as nine people have been promoted, with effect from 1 January 2022.

Chief executive Ben Snee said: “As a family-owned partnership and a business whose most valuable asset is our people, we believe our values and culture sets us apart.  We have been fortunate in attracting some of the best talent in the industry and are delighted to recognise those listed [below] as people who have progressed in our business to reach partner status.”

Among the raft of promotions are head of compliance and legal Barbara Kane, head of international Valentina Tacchino, and head of client services Rob Holt.

Six investment managers also made partner. They are Andy Gaskell, Ed Campbell-Harris, Effie Geraki, Elliott O’Brien, Pete Gyles and William Boyd-Carpenter.
