LGIM said Reedie has extensive experience of running credit portfolios and has over 25 years of industry experience.
He joined LGIM in 2005 from Henderson Global Investors where he was head of investment grade credit fund management.
Related to the move Robert Barnard-Smith, head of UK credit portfolio management, will now have sole responsibility for the UK investment grade credit team.
Robert has over 20 years of industry experience and joined LGIM in February 2001, after spending 9 years in the fixed interest team at Schroders, where he managed both government and credit portfolios.
