“Pioch will work closely with the whole multi-asset team as an assistant fund manager,” a spokesperson for L&G said.
He started in his new role on 21 July and will work with former Aviva colleague, multi-asset fund manager Justin Onuekwusi, who joined L&G last year. Previously, Pioch joined Aviva in September 2009.
At Aviva, Pioch worked on the £83m Aviva Investors Global Balanced Income Fund, as well as the £109m Aviva Investors Global Cautious Income Fund. Both funds have now been taken over by fund managers Nick Samouilhan and Gavin Counsell.
