Marianne Kafena will take on the role when she joins in November to head up a team of tax and financial planning client advisers. Her and the team will be responsible for determining and implementing the firm’s strategy for working alongside external professional advisers.
Kafena joins from Lombard Odier in London where she was a senior wealth planner involved in providing legal support to private bankers in all aspects of international private client and trust work. Prior to this she was a senior trust officer and legal counsel for Lombard Odier in Bermuda.
Originally she trained as a solicitor at Farrer & Cowhere she qualified and worked in the international private client team.

Kafena will report to Guy McGlashan, head of wealth management.
