Kames Capital has unveiled a suite of funds that will be renamed in September when the UK asset management rebrands in line with its parent company Aegon Asset Management.
Fifteen Oeics will be renamed under the Aegon brand, alongside 11 Irish-domiciled funds plus the Kames Property Income fund and its feeder funds.
Aegon Asset Management currently manages €352bn (£298). It operates under the Aegon brand in the US, Asia and continental Europe, while Kames Capital had been used for the UK business.
The rebrand, which was first unveiled in December, takes place on 7 September.
Aegon Asset Management chief executive Bas NieuweWeme (pictured) said in a press release: “We believe the move to one global brand will help us to operate more efficiently across international markets, leveraging our experience, knowledge and resources worldwide.
“Operating under a single brand will also allow us to be more responsive to the changing markets and the evolving needs of our investors, ultimately ensuring that our client proposition and service remains best-in-class.”
