Bach, will be responsible for all investment-related activity associated with the open-ended Kames Active Value Property Fund, the closed-ended UK Active Value Property Unit Trust and the Active Value Property Fund II, also closed-ended. Together the three funds account for £800m of assets.
Kames’ active value range targets the ‘good quality secondary commercial property market’, particularly in the £5m to £15m range.
Bach has 23 years’ industry experience and joined Kames Capital in 2012 from ING Real Estate Investment Management. Before this, he was an asset manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, where he undertook the strategic asset management of the property assets in the BT and Royal Mail pension funds.
