From 6 November, Wilson joins from HSBC Global Asset Management, having been marketing director at Henderson Global Investors and prior to that, New Star Asset Management.

With an asset management marketing career spanning 27 years, Wilson’s earlier employers have included Aberdeen, Prolific and Save & Prosper (now JPMorgan Asset Management), as well as chairmanship of the  IMA retail marketing group from 2009-2010.

Wilson said: “Jupiter has one of the strongest brand names in the UK asset management industry and I am delighted to be joining the company as it seeks to build on that strength in the UK and internationally.”

Maarten Slendebroek, distribution and strategy director at Jupiter, said Wilson’s appointment would continue the international expansion of the group, building on successful client relations already in place across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Singapore.
