Whitefield will join the firm on 23 June from Aberdeen Asset Management, where he has been working as marketing manager for UK wholesale.
During his 20 years in asset management sector marketing Whitefield has also worked for Cazenove Capital Management, Henderson Global Investors, New Star Asset Management and Hill Samuel Asset Management.
Whitefield will manage the UK channel marketing team together with oversight of the events team.
