Three former Julius Baer executives have joined the London office of Investec Wealth & Investment as senior investment directors.

Greg Waunford-Brown, Philip Maher and Gideon Wright have all joined the firm in senior roles to help expand its client base.

The trio joined Julius Baer during its 2014 acquisition of Merrill Lynch International Wealth Management.

Waunford-Brown has more than 25 years’ experience in wealth management and rose to senior vice president at Merrill Lynch after holding roles in Natwest, Coutts and RBS.

Maher spent 19 years in the wealth division of Barclay’s bank before joining Merrill Lynch in 2007 and rising to become managing director in 2013.

Wright was also a senior vice president at Merrill Lynch after 35 years in the industry.
