Jonathan Holland and Robert Websdale have both left positions at Barclays’ Manchester office to join the Julius Baer’s London as relationship managers with the rank of director.

The pair will join senior relationship manager Alan Edwards to focus on the company’s development of high net worth and ultra-high net worth advisory services in the North, and will report to David Durlacher, head of relationship management.

Head of the Julius Baer UK business, Adam Horowitz, said: “The North of England is a central part of our long-term strategy and the team brings with it a deep understanding and commitment to the region.

“Together with Alan Edwards, they will help us to become the new reference for wealth management in the North of England.”

Holland has more than 12 years’ experience in relationship management and advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals. As well as Barclays, he has held positions at JP Morgan and UBS.

Websdale advised high net worth clients at Barclays for eight years, and has previously worked in corporate banking.
