Its Inflation Plus Plan 2 offers investors 185% participation in the retail price index (RPI) over a five-year and nine-month term, between October 2011 and July 2017. The offer is available until 2 December, 2011, with the initial investment being 16 December.

The capital return at maturity will be reduced if the FTSE 100 is at least 50% below its initial level (as set on 16 December) though investors will still get 185% of any RPI growth.

Chris Powell, head of UK IFA sales at Jubilee explained: “This product offers a return such that at the current inflation rate of 5.6% pa a participation of 185% equates to 10.3% pa, albeit the expectation is that inflation is likely to abate over the medium term.”

The plan’s investment ends on 14 September, 2017, and matures on 2 October 2017.
