This will formally take effect on 1 May, and will see the trust move from the AIC’s UK Growth sector.
The plan to make this move had previously been announced by the Chairman, Sir Michael Bunbury, in its annual results in March.
It will continue to be run by managers William Meadon and Sarah Emly. Its current share price is 424.25p, its net asset value is 465.68p, giving a discount of -9.81%.
James Saunders Watson, head of marketing, investment trusts, at JP Morgan Asset Management, commented: “Claverhouse has increased its total dividend in each of the past 39 years, pays its income on a quarterly basis and its shares currently yield 4.4%.”
