Based in London, both will report to Richard Beggs, head of UK investors.
Schlaefli’s most recent role was as chief investment officer at Synergy Asset Management based in Geneva, and prior to that he was a founding member and senior portfolio manager at Signia Wealth. He has also worked at Coutts and Citibank in similar roles.
Meanwhile, Vaccari joins from Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management where he was an investment adviser on the Italian and Middle East teams.
