Jeffrey Roskell to step down after 27 years at the firm

JP Morgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust portfolio manager Jeffrey Roskell will retire next year.

In an announcement to the stock exchange, the firm said Roskell will stand down in the first quarter of 2024 after 27 years with the firm.

He has managed the trust alongside the JP Morgan Emerging Markets Income fund since 2016 after joining JP Morgan as an investment manager within the global equities team in 1997. Roskell has also managed the JPM Asia Pacific Income fund since 2010.

JP Morgan said managers Omar Negyal and Isaac Thong will continue to manage the trust’s portfolio.

The trust’s board said it “would like to thank Jeff for his contribution to the management of the company’s assets and wishes him the very best in his retirement”.
