Jordan Sriharan is leaving Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management for a role in asset management, handing responsibility for the firm’s model portfolio and passive services to Nick Muir.

Sriharan (pictured) has been with CGWM since its acquisition of Thomas Miller in 2019. He heads up the MPS and passive investment services and sits on the portfolio construction and fixed interest committees.

Before Thomas Miller, he worked at Mercer where he managed corporate pension funds.

It is understood Sriharan is moving to a fund management role, but it was not clear where.

A CGWM UK spokesperson said: “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jordan for the contribution he has made to the MPS and passive team and the business as a whole. We wish him all the best for the future.”

Muir has been promoted to Sriharan’s role and will take on additional leadership duties to broaden the appeal of the MPS and passive ranges to intermediaries. He has been a co-manager on the MPS since joining the firm more than six years ago.

He has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, having previously held roles at UBS, Deutsche Bank and HSBC.

CGWM UK head of intermediary investments Paul Parker said: “Nick brings a wealth of experience to this role. He has an unrivalled knowledge of our portfolio services and our dynamic investment approach, as well as strong relationships within the intermediary community. I look forward to him taking the helm to continue the portfolios’ success.”
