Jonathan Polin and Ignis to part company

Jonathan Polin is to leave as sales and marketing director at Ignis Asset Management in July.

His departure follows swiftly on the heels of Rob Page leaving as head of marketing in April and Jon Garland, head of discretionary sales, leaving earlier this month. Both have joined as partners at Ardevora, the firm set up by former Liontrust fund managers Jeremy Lang and William Pattisson.

After seven years at Ignis, sales and marketing director Polin will leave at the end of July with chief executive Chris Samuel taking over his responsibilities. He confirmed the business remains committed to growing and developing both retail and institutional propositions in the UK and Europe.

Polin himself said: “The focus of the Ignis business is now realigning and it is the right time for me to do something new.”
