There has been a quartet of promotions in the investment management leadership team at JM Finn following the retirement of Brett Bayliss after 16 years at the wealth manager.

With effect from 1 January, Paul Dyas (pictured) has become head of investment management. He will continue to work alongside Barry Smead, COO investment management, in taking responsibility for all client facing activity. Supporting Dyas and Smead will be Mark Powell, who has been promoted to head of London. Powell is an investment director and head of charities who has been with the firm for 19 years and will continue to lead the firm’s charity team. He will report into Dyas.

Replacing Bayliss as head of the Bury St Edmunds branch will be Jonathan Goldring, an investment director who joined JM Finn 16 years ago. He will be supported by Pamela Davies who has been with the firm for five years as a portfolio risk analyst, who assumes the role of deputy head of the branch,

Hugo Bedford, CEO of JM Finn commented: “Brett’s calm and considered approach to both the management of his clients and JM Finn will be greatly missed and I would like to thank him on behalf of the Firm for all his hard work and commitment to the business over the years. We wish him a happy retirement and all the very best for the years ahead. I look forward to working more closely with Paul, Mark, Jonathan and Pamela in their new roles as we work hard to continue delivering quality investment and wealth management services for our clients.”
