David Stevens, David Roblin, Susannah Boanas and Howard Cockburn are to work on JM Finn & Co’s private client service.
The firm said this was the second group appointment it has made in recent months and reflects its desire to attract investment managers and attract additional private clients.
Brewin Dolphin said the four individuals, who do not work as a team in their offices, remain under contract with the firm and so it would not comment.
It added: "We have a constant flow of investment managers and qualified financial planners joining us."
