Axa Investment Managers technology investment team head Jeremy Gleeson (pictured) will exit the firm in August, Portfolio Adviser has learned.

He has led the £1.27bn Axa Framlington Global Technology fund since joining the firm in June 2007.

Gleeson has also been lead manager on the Digital Economy fund since its launch in 2017, alongside being the global technology specialist for the Axa IM equity team. He has also co-managed the firm’s Robotech strategies since 2015.

In the interim, fund management responsibilities will continue to be carried out by the technology investment team, led by head of global thematic strategies Tom Riley and portfolio managers Brad Reynolds and Pauline Llandric.

An Axa spokesperson told Portfolio Adviser he is leaving to ‘pursue an opportunity’ outside of the firm.

“We would like to thank Jeremy for his contributions over the past 17 years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” the spokesperson said.
