Former Janus Henderson portfolio manager Bethany Payne has joined PGIM’s fixed income arm, becoming a vice president in its developed markets rates team.

A PGIM spokesperson confirmed to Portfolio Adviser that, alongside the existing portfolio management team, Bethany will manage the Fixed Income Relative Value strategy.

Based in London, she reports to the head of the developed markets rates team, Mick Meyler.

Prior to her move, Payne spent 16 years at Janus Henderson, starting as an assistant fund manager in 2006. She then became a quantitative analyst in the asset manager’s fixed income division.

She became a portfolio manager at the firm in 2010, a role she held for 12 years before departing in November last year.
